Greetings to the National Pan-Hellenic Council and to the rest of Greek Life here at the University of Texas at Arlington.
I am very proud and honored to be this year’s National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) President. The National Pan-Hellenic Council at the University of Texas at Arlington consists of 6 distinguished, African-American organizations: Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, and Sigma Gamma Rho. This council connects and unifies these organizations through various activities here on campus.
In 2010, I would like to continue the amazing work already done by my predecessors and build on it. I would also like to connect the organizations through meaningful events that center and revolve around community service and the better promotion of scholarship, which are all foundations for all of our respective fraternities and sororities.
Additionally, I would like to make more of an effort to connect with the other Greek councils in Greek Life to mend the gap that is there.
Lastly, NPHC has many events and activities this year for Greeks and Non-Greeks alike. We would like everyone to participate and partake in these events.
